In general I think that is impossible to be always successful. Failure is probably the most important part of any learning curve because without making any mistakes there is no way we can improve. Michael Jordan himself said "I failed over and over and over again in my life...and that is why I succeed".
The important thing is to have a learning mindset, analyze what went wrong the first time and try to do it better the next time.
