Yunli Z.
Sr. Program Manager, People Development
At the earlier stage of my career at Micron, I found it quite challenging to adapt to the engineering working environment given my educational background is in arts and science. What has helped me to survive through that phase is to look at ways to tie my work and tasks to my strengths and interests, to look for trustworthy mentors to get their advice and mentoring and built upon small wins achieved step by step. Looking back at that challenging phase, it laid the foundation for me to understand the business and technology field, boosted my self-confidence in working in a fast-paced technology company, and built my track records for stepping out of my comfort zone to adapt and deliver results.
