Micron is often praised on “best workplaces” lists in locations where we operate around the globe, most recently in Greater China, Germany, Japan, Italy, Singapore and Taiwan. This year, we are also receiving recognition on a much larger scale. Micron has been recognized in Asia for offering great compensation, benefits, training and career growth opportunities. Micron achieved its goal of comprehensive global pay equity, a key pillar in our diversity, equality and inclusion (DEI) initiative. Our ten employee resource groups (ERGs) support and empower team members in myriad ways. Membership in ERGs grew 87% in 2021 to more than 12,500 participants. Singapore and Malaysia have achieved gender parity, and the number of women being hired at our other sites is growing.
